The famous Pakistani filmmaker and academy award recipient Sakina Samo’s creation Intezaar (Waiting) movie is finally released. The film has been long awaited since the pandemic. It features a totally different plot, not romantic or comic. The story is moralistic and based on true life events. The best comparison would be with the Cake film. Most recently, Sakina has shared her thoughts about the film writing, “Our humble indie film is on its way to cinemas all over Pakistan. InshaAllah. See you there then.”

The film is starring all the good actors including Samina Ahmed, Khalid Ahmed, Kaif Ghaznavi, Raza Ali Abid, and Adnan Jaffar. Its storyline is the brainchild of renowned screenwriter Bee Gul. And the film is produced under the dynamic direction of Ms. Sakina. The master creator has handpicked each character according to the plot. Everything in the film feels natural. Kudos to the makers and the actors for giving their best.

As the title suggests, the film surrounds the lives of common people. It depicts how everyone is just waiting for something to happen throughout their life. The cycle kind of goes on, when someone achieves one thing, he/she went on to wait for the other thing to happen. No doubt, it gives us an insight into the other side of life. The idea is to enlighten people to help them widen their horizons about their perspective of life.
