The singer and actress Ayesha Omar appeared in the show “Har Lamha Purjosh” which is hosted by Waseem Badami. In the show, she was asked about her harassment story which made her broke down into tears. Waseem asked why she does not name and shame her harasser. Omar has been asked a lot of this question. Ayesha answered that she would have revealed his name if she felt like he would harass someone else in the future. She said that her harasser is of no harm now. She shared that she was first harassed when she was 22 years old. She could not process at that time as she was really scared because her harasser was in power. She did not dare to tell this to someone.
Ayesha expressed while tears dropped down her eyes that she is sorry to the person she was. She is sorry for her own childhood. She would be a different person if she had talked about her harassment story before.
