Early Life

Saba Qamar Zaman’s real name is Sabahat. She was born to a Sindhi family in Hyderabad, Sindh. However, she moved to Gujranwala after her father’s death and spent her childhood there.

Education

Her early education was in Gujranwala. Later for her higher education, she moved to Lahore. She did her BA from Lahore and started her professional life.

Family

The names of Saba’s parents are not known to the public. She lost her father when she was just 3 years old. She and her other siblings moved to Gujranwala with her mother and lived there with her grandparents. Later, she moved to Lahore.

Siblings

Saba Qamar are total of six siblings, including her. Although the names of only two siblings are known to the public. One of her elder sisters, Nazia, is Saba’s best friend and also looks after her house. She has been her biggest support throughout her life. Her elder brother’s name is Raheem, he passed away a few months back. He was called by the name of Munna. Saba broke this heartbreaking news to her fans through her social media.

Marital Status

Saba is single and there is no news of her dating someone. Once she got engaged to her cousin who was an engineer in the Pakistan Air Force, but their engagement ended. There have been several rumors of her dating different co-stars but she has never accepted any rumors. However, recently she has been hinted about someone being in her life who she might be considering for marriage but we have no information about the person.

Early Career

When Saba moved to Lahore for higher education, she soon got more interested in developing a career in the entertainment industry. she got introduced to the people in the industry through her sister’s friend who worked in PTV. Her sister’s friend knew of the hidden talent Saba had so she encouraged her and helped her in meeting the correct people.

In 2005, Saba did her first drama with PTV, Main Aurat Hoon. Soon she got another project, Sussar in Law. Followed by some other amazing projects like Dhoop mai Andhera Hai, Dastaan, Banjaar, and Uraan, she proved herself to be an extraordinary actress. 

Acting Career

In 2011, her breakthrough drama came Maat, after which everyone recognized her as one of the brilliant Pakistani drama actresses. In 2015, her debut film, Manto, in which she performed the role of Noor Jehan and no one could ignore her amazing work in the film. In 2017, she got the privilege of working with the amazing Bollywood actor, Irfan Khan, in the Bollywood movie, Hindi Medium. Until now she had established the position of the top Pakistani actress. Her recent dramas, Baaghi, Fraud, and Cheekh have been a great hit as well. Saba chooses amazing projects and then gives her role life with her brilliant acting skills.
