Early Life
Zoya Nasir was born on 15th October 1990 in Lahore, Pakistan. She was born into a film family, and most of her family members worked in the Pakistani film industry. All her life she lived in Lahore and then moved to England and later shifted to America to study Cosmetology.
Education
Zoya got her early education from Resource Academia, Lahore. For high school, she attended Lahore College of Arts and Science (LACAS), Lahore. Later for her skilled education she went to America and got a degree in Cosmetology.
Parents
Zoya’s father, Nasir Adeeb, is a renowned screenwriter with a Guinness Book of World Records for the most number of movies written. He also wrote Maula Jutt and the Legend of Maula Jutt.
Zoya’s mother’s name is Amna Ulfat, she is a politician and currently, she is a member of the Censor Board of Pakistan.
Grandfather
Zoya’s grandfather, Ghulam Hussain, was a movie director. Her grandmother’s name was Khatija Begum who was also an actress.
Siblings
Zoya has four siblings, three brothers and a sister. Zoya is the youngest among all five of them. Her eldest brother’s name is Kamran Nasir, and he is the CEO of JS Global Capital Ltd. Another of her brother’s name is Jani Nasir and her sister’s is Sasha Nasir.
Marital Status
Zoya got married at a very early age and moved to England with her husband. However, the marriage didn’t work and she moved back to Pakistan at the age of 21 and got a divorce.
Engagement
Zoya got engaged to her German Vlogger boyfriend, Christain Betzmann. They both seemed in love and often visited each other’s countries to meet. They were very open about their relationship and posted their pictures a lot. They also did a few photoshoot projects together.
However, the relationship didn’t work out and they both called off the engagement. The reason was Christain’s insensitive comments towards Pakistan which he expressed publicly.
Early Career
Zoya was always inclined towards arts so she channeled her love for art into makeup. She worked as a creative head at Sabs Salon. After moving to England, she worked as a product developer at a makeup company. She established her own salons in Boston, Miami, and New York apart from Pakistan.
Acting Career
In 2019, Zoya did her debut drama, Hania, where she played the lead role of Hania who was a compromising wife and suffered at the hands of an abusive husband. Zoya claims that her father helps her in mastering the art of acting. Later she appeared in the romantic drama Deewangi. She also played an important role in the popular drama serial, Dobara, opposite Hadiqa Kiana and Bilal Abbas.
Nowadays she can be seen in the drama serial Dil Hi Tou Hai opposite Ali Ansari.
