Recently, Aima Baig came in an interview with Mira Sethi where she asked about comments like questioning her religion on her pictures. She said that nobody can question anybody’s faith or religion. People don’t know what kind of relationship one has with Allah. Nobody knows what kind of things Aima has gone through in her life that helped her to come closer to Allah. She says that she can not open up about everything on social media. It is between her and Allah, and it is what her faith is.
She said that it is not the dress code that shows up that a girl is Muslim. This shouldn’t be the perception of a Muslim woman. Aima Baig shared that she comes from a very religious family. She said that when she expressed to her father that she wanted to be a singer, her father said that remove “Baig” from her name.
