Early Life

Ameer Gilani was born on 4^th July 1990 in Tarbela, Pakistan. he spent his entire childhood in Islamabad until class 7 when he moved to Canada with his family. He lived there for six years and then moved back to Pakistan and lived with his family in Islamabad.

Ameer Gilani got his early education in Islamabad and moved to Canada in class 7^th. He attended his high school in Canada, Abbey Park High School. Later, he did his LLB from Harvard Law School. However, his dream and passion was always acting.

Ameer belongs to a Pathan Muslim family of Pakistan, originally from Kohat. He lives with his parents and a younger sister, Rania Gilani, in Islamabad. His family is highly educated and really decent. He is very close to his family and considers them his biggest support system. None of his family members belongs to the showbiz industry.

His parents’ names are not known to the public neither is his father’s profession. However, his mother is running a baking business, Mama’s batter, and always bakes Ameer’s birthday cakes as well.

Career

After completing his law degree, Ameer started taking baby steps towards his dream, acting. He did a soap in 2019 called Log Kya Kahenge, opposite Komal Meer and Sabeena Farooq.

Then in 2020, he did a drama serial, Sabaat, along with Mawra Hocane, Sarah Khan, and Usman Mukhtar. He got really popular through this drama and viewers loved his work. He even got nominated for Best Emerging Talent in the Lux Style Awards.

He also appeared in a special music video with Atif Aslam for Defense Day of Pakistan.

After Sabaat, he again appeared in a drama serial after three years. His third Television project is his on-air drama serial, Neem, along with Mawra Hocane, Arsalan Naseer, and Syed Jibran. He is playing the role of a simple, innocent guy from Kashmir who stammers who loved a girl, played by Mawra, from a distance since childhood. His acting is remarkable and worth every praise.
