Hina got her schooling done at Beaconhouse School System in Karachi. Later, she joined Iqra University Karachi and did her graduation from there.

Early Career
Hina Altaf started her career as a VJ and first appeared on television when she took part in the VJ Hunt show on MTV Pakistan. She became the first runner-up of the show and soon started appearing as a VJ on different channels. She hosted shows like Play News, and Girls Republic but the show which became the reason for her breakthrough was Breaking Weekend. She got the attention she deserved and soon got her first television drama.
Acting Career
Hina appeared in Maryam Kesay Jiye in 2015 for the first time in a Pakistani drama. Since then she has done a number of drama serials and fans love her work in dramas like Udaari, Dil-e-Jaanam, Aatish, Dil-e-Ghumshuda, and Rabba Meinu Maaf Karein. Her drama Udaari is the highest-ranked Urdu drama of all time, and her work as a rape victim survivor was loved by everyone.
