Kalank, the new drama serial, which launched just recently on 29th August 2023 goes on air on Har Pal Geo TV. It’s written by Edison Idrees Masih, directed by Mohsin Mirza and the producers are Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. It was produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment. the drama goes on air daily at 9:00 PM. The main lead includes Hira Mani, Junaid Khan, and Nazish Jahangir. Nazish Jahangir plays a negative role in the drama. It’s a love story with lots of ups and downs and a love triangle between cousins.

Hira Mani as Sara
Hira Salman popularly known as Hira Mani is a popular and much-loved Pakistani actress, host, model, singer, and VJ. Her husband, Salman known as Mani, was a popular VJ and an actor when they got married and he was the one who encouraged her to join the acting industry. Hira Mani was born on 27th February 1989 and her age is 34 years. Hira has two children.
She started her career as a VJ and moved on to hosting a show with her husband, Hum 2 Aur Humara Show. She started her acting career with the drama serial, Teri Meri Kahani, opposite her husband. After that, she gave a lot of hit drama serials including Yaqeen ka Safar, Jab We Wed, Mere Pass Tum Ho, and Kashf.
She is playing the lead role in the new drama serial, Kalank. Hira is playing the role of Sara who is an innocent, caring, and sensitive girl, an MBA graduate seeking a job. She is in love with her cousin Wahaj.
Junaid Khan as Wahaj
Junaid Khan is a Pakistani singer, songwriter, producer and actor. He was born on 2nd November 1981. Junaid is married and has two kids. Junaid is the lead vocalist in the band Call since the 2000s. he and his band produced some amazing music which gave them a lot of success.
He started his acting career with the sitcom Kabhi na Kabhi in 2011. He is popular for the drama serials Sun Yaara, Ishq Tamasha, Yaariyan, and Hum Tum.
In Kalank, Junaid is playing the lead hero role opposite Hira Mani. He is playing the role of Wahaj, Sara’s cousin who is madly in love with her and plans to get married to her. Although Junaid’s khala wants him to get married to her daughter, Duriya.
Nazish Jahangir as Duriya
Nazish Jahangir was born on 24 April 1994 and her age is 29 years. She is a beautiful Pakistani actress who has appeared in a number of television dramas. She is known for her work as a mental health awareness activist. Jahangir has also been on the cover of a number of leading magazines in Pakistan.
Initially, she did commercial theatre with Anwar Maqsood in 2015 and got noticed by the drama makers due to her amazing acting skills. She is known for her roles as Zoya in Thays, Faiza in Tohmat, Nimra in Kam Zarf, and Shameela in Kahin Deep Jaley.
She is playing a negative role in the drama serial Kalank. Nazish will be playing the role of Duriya who is a cousin of Sara and Wahaj. She is in love with Wahaj who loves Sara and plans to marry her. Duriya’s mother takes this to heart and wants to take an act of revenge on Sara and Wahaj for ruining her daughter’s love.
