Hadiqa Kiani and Umair Rana starrer drama serial Pinjra is all set to hit the screens. The serial is written by the late dramatist Asma Nabeel who’s known for Khuda Mera Bhi Hai and the very famous Khaani. This serial is her last write-up, she couldn’t even complete it before resting in peace. Her death was tragic, she died fighting cancer, even though she was vocal about women’s health throughout her life. Later, the makers decided to present her unfinished work as a tribute.
Pinjra Cast and Storyline
The serial is produced by Shazia Wajahat the dearest friend of Asma Nabeel. It is directed by the renowned TV director Najaf Bilgrami, he had also worked with Asma, our iron lady. The serial is more like a friend’s tribute. To make it memorable, the makers handpicked top TV stars and carefully assigned the characters. We’ve Hadiqa Kiani, Omair Rana, Sunita Marshal, Aashir Wajahat, and Zhalay Sarhadi among the cast. According to the producer, every individual has given their best for the serial. It’s going to be a treat for Asma’s fans.
