Kashf, starring Hira Mani and Junaid Khan, created great hype because of the content it provided the audience with. The Drama serial attracted people with the character of Kashf which was showcased in a very unique way.
Kashf, played by Hira Mani, is the story of a girl whose life turns upside down amid household politics. The girl sees nightmares that become reality after some time. She belongs to a lower-class family that lives hand to mouth. Kashf becomes an earner in the family by starting her Astana.
The story, directed by Danish Nawaz, takes a new turn when Kashf becomes “Kashf bibi” through her Astana and her family starts cashing in on her money and fame. But there’s one person Wajdaan (Junaid Khan), Kashf’s fiancé and cousin as well, who loves her unconditionally. Wajdaan and Kashf struggle a lot to make things better and also get married. By the time, Kashf had something else in her mind and her dreams got in her way which makes her married life miserable, resulting in separation from Wajdaan.
There’s a lot of twists and turns in between but the last episode grew on everyone. Wajdaan marries Kashf’s sister who plays a vital role in making Kashf’s and Wajdaan’s life miserable. Wajdaan does not bear the separation and loses his senses. On the other hand, Kashf leaves the world in great grief and sorrow while prostrating in Namaz.
This drama was sheer evidence of excellence. Everyone loved the expressions of Junaid Khan in the last episode that how he turned himself into a mad man. The audience is sad on the tragic end because they wanted to see Kashf and Wajdaan happy as the world didn’t let them stay happy.
